Senior Associate, Manager, Principal and Partner work collaboratively on client engagements. Each role has distinct responsibility and leads an aspect of the engagement, delivering a powerful combination of

  • analytical capabilities

  • project leadership

  • industry and functional expertise

 

Senior Associate

Senior Associate has minimum three years of experience in an industry and /or in a top-tier management consulting firm. His/ her responsibilities include:

  • Manage a team of associates and analysts during scan engagement.

  • Lead a project module by synthesizing the findings and recommend solutions during strategy engagement.

  • Occasionally become project ambassador to program manage the project during the support engagement as a part of his/her development before becoming manager.

 

Manager

A Manager has minimum five years of experience with atleast three years in a top-tier management consulting firm. His/ her responsibilities include:

  • Define the client needs along with the Principal and create the project charter.

  • Lead a team of consultants and manage client relationship during scan and strategy engagements.

  • Advise project ambassador and client during the support engagement.

  • Provide mentorship to Consultants.

  • Support Principal client relationship and seek assignments from repeat clients as a part of his/her development before becoming Principal.

 

Principal

A Principal has minimum eight years of experience with atleast five years in a top-tier management consulting firm. His/ her responsibilities include:

  • Maintain and develop client relationships and lead business development initiatives.

  • Advise project managers during strategy engagement in area of expertise.

  • Provide mentorship to Project Managers.

  • Support Partner in creating intellectual capital for the firm as a part of his/her development before becoming Partner.

 

Partner

A Partner, typically, gets promoted from Principal. His/ her responsibilities include:

  • Lead the industry or functional practice.

  • Advises Principals in firm’s business development initiatives.

  • Maintain relationships with executive leadership.

  • Promote and represent the firm in the industry and functional forums.

  • Provide mentorship to Principals.

  • Participate in firm strategy development.
